Kraftdriven products should only be used for their intended application, as described on the relevant product page. Products should not be adapted for vehicles, positions or purposes they were not described as suitable for.

Confirm compatibility before installation

Customers must confirm compatibility before installation. Compatibility may depend on the vehicle model, year, specification and existing equipment, including airbag modules, control switches, heating and paddle shift systems. If anything is unclear, contact us with your vehicle details before ordering or fitting.

Installation

Installation should be carried out by a suitably qualified or experienced professional where appropriate, such as a specialist installer or auto electrician. Steering wheel installation typically involves airbag and steering column components, and incorrect installation can affect the operation of those systems.

• Follow the vehicle manufacturer's procedures for handling airbag and restraint components.
• Retain and reconnect all relevant vehicle safety systems and warning devices.
• Check torque, alignment and full steering movement before driving the vehicle.
• Confirm that warning lights and controls operate correctly after installation.

Vehicle safety systems

Important: steering wheel products must be installed correctly. Customers should retain and follow all relevant vehicle safety systems and manufacturer requirements. A vehicle with a warning light, a disconnected restraint system or an incorrectly installed steering component should not be driven until the issue has been resolved by a competent professional.

Do not modify products unsafely

Products must not be modified in any way that compromises safety or structural integrity — for example drilling, cutting, reshaping the frame, or altering airbag or switch mountings. Unsafe modification also affects any warranty on the product.
